Structure and Solidity: Quilts from QuiltCon shown at Houston International Quilt Festival The MQG has a special exhibit at the Houston International Quilt Festival showcasing quilts from QuiltCon over the years. This year’s theme is Structure and Solidity. See the quilts in the exhibit in the gallery below or in person in Houston Nov. 2-5, 2023. From the exhibit statement: In our ever-changing world, quilts are an anchor that links us to the past and centers us in the present. In this collection of quilts, the quilt design is anchoring. The motifs evoke stability and structure, something you can settle into. This exhibit is compiled from several years of QuiltCon quilts and lent with the permission of the artists. Congratulations to all the makers with quilts in this exhibit!
