Detroit Area MQG

The Detroit Area Modern Quilt Guild, or DAMQG, is a small group of non-traditional quilters in the Metro Detroit area. Our work focuses on modern designs, which vary from traditional patterns made with funky fabrics to improvisational piecing without patterns. Our meetings are filled with fun and inspiration, featuring local speakers, demonstrations, challenges, swaps, and everyone’s favorite: show and tell. We also have occasional weekend sew-ins, workshops, and retreats for our members.

The DAMQG was established in January 2013 and is a branch of the Modern Quilt Guild  Please join us!  New members are always welcome.
