QuiltCon 2025 Faculty Applications are Open!

The Modern Quilt Guild welcomes and encourages a diverse community of instructors to submit an application to teach at QuiltCon 2025 in Phoenix, AZ, from February 20-23, 2025.

What are we looking for?

Experienced instructors with fresh material, teaching techniques of interest to modern quilters in the two formats below:

Workshops

• Three-hour to six-hour technique-based workshops where participants are actively making/creating in one of four workshop room types: domestic sewing machine, longarm, design/technology, or handwork
• Content designed for intermediate to advanced levels of difficulty
• Applicants will be required to submit a photo sample for each proposed workshop. JPGs are preferred with a maximum size of 100 MB per photo.
• NOTE: If you wish to teach workshops, please be sure to submit at least one three-hour workshop concept. Three-hour workshops are crucial to filling the QuiltCon schedule, and each workshop instructor is expected to teach at least one three-hour workshop.

Lectures

• 45-minute lecture proposals on technique, history, style, and other quilting topics.
